Coasteering is an adrenaline-fuelled adventure sport, which is quickly increasing in popularity in the UK. Especially in North Wales. With ample coastline within a short drive on the island, Anglesey Pursuits is ideally located in North Wales for an adventure filled half day or full days activities guaranteed to get your heart racing and adrenaline pumped.

Coasteering is everything you always wanted to do at the seaside when you were a kid but were not allowed! Let us guide your adventure where you experience the exhilaration of sea level traversing, rock climbing, cliff jumping and swimming into sea caves. You will gain a unique perspective of coastal exploration along the wild and beautiful Anglesey coastline under the watchful eye of our qualified and experienced instructors.

Coasteering on Anglesey, North Wales is a great activity for everyone as it is open to all abilities and with no previous experience required. We tailor our sessions to match group ability whether it’s your first coasteer or you’re a seasoned veteran!

Coasteering is the ideal activity for a variety of groups, challenging the individual and building confidence whilst also facilitating teamwork and trust. Coasteering is perfect for families, individuals, corporate away days, birthday celebrations, clubs, stag do weekends or hen parties.

WHAT DOES COASTEERING WITH ANGLESEY PURSUITS ENTAIL?

Half Day Morning’s Activity

09.00am – Meet at designated location and kit issue.
Safety checks and a briefing on procedures, the day’s activities and any questions answered.
12.00pm – Finish activity, debrief and feedback.
12.15pm – Return kit and depart.

Half Day Afternoon’s Activity

13.00pm – Meet at designated location and kit issue.
Safety checks and a briefing on procedures, the day’s activities and any questions answered.
16.00pm – Finish activity, debrief and feedback.
16.15pm – Return kit and depart.

Full Day’s Activity

09.00am – Meet at designated location and kit issue.
Safety checks and briefing on procedures, the day’s activity and any questions answered.
12.00pm – Finish route one, debrief and feedback.
12.15pm – Lunch.
13.00pm – Ready to go again on route two.
Safety checks and briefing on procedures along with any questions answered.
16.00pm – Finish route two, debrief and feedback.
16.15pm – Return kit and depart.

What do I need to bring for coasteering?

Personal kit required by you for coasteering

  • A suitable pair of trainers / outdoor walking shoes (no astroturf trainers please as these are too slippery in the wet).
  • A pair of spare socks
  • Rash vest or t-shirt (not cotton) to wear under a wetsuit.
  • A pair of shorts to wear on the outside of the wetsuit.
  • Swimsuit to wear under your wetsuit.
  • Towel, sun cream and any personal medication.
  • Lunch and plenty of water if on a full day’s activity.

Anglesey Pursuits has a well equipped, purposely renovated trailer for you to be able to get changed in privacy. Your belongings can be stored in the trailer whilst you are out and about on your adventures (at the participant’s risk) – the trailer will be locked and secured.
